This three-part workshop series is an opportunity to evaluate your approach to emotional and conceptual art-making with like-minded working artists. Figurative artist, Chrilz, will be sharing the intimate process behind conceiving, executing, and completing his work in an effort to inspire and encourage participants to rediscover the authentic processes unique to each one of them. As a participant you can expect discussion about strategies for staying true to the ideas and emotions within a piece; an open dialog about the hazards and pitfalls artists face when trying to see a piece through to completion; and a closer look at how artists can grow and expand from evaluation of the finished work. To facilitate continued renewal upon completion of the workshop, a one-of-a-kind zine will be compiled and distributed to each participant with contributions from their peers related to the experience they had during this time together. Please join us for a safe and comfortable environment offering solidarity amongst fellow emotionally- and conceptually-driven artists all seeking to return to the honest and authentic inner need we share as creators.
